Hi! To all my readers I am so sorry for the sad, sad blog! I have had alot change in my life lately. I am sad to say I am giving up babysitting after 14 fun years. I now have a job at the Beer Store and Coffee Culture! I have started and just lovin it. I hope to be able to get back blogging soon but need to get other things in order first. Valentines Day!

So this past weekend I took a card class with my sister and friend Tara! Finally..... its been so long since we have done a class together. What a great class it was! I learned lots about Copics and had so much fun with it. When I was on the design team for the scrapping turtle my first term I was on the team with Deanna Woodland she is awesome and she was doing the class which was great to see her again.

This weather has been so fabulous its hard to stay caught up! I am enjoying the outdoors and our cottage. I haven't had time to scrap! I did get a card done recently and glad I did..... cause guess what!!!! I won top pick! So excited. Thank you to the DT for picking my card!

Tutorial and a RAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I thought I would do a naked chipboard tutorial. No don't worry I won't be the one naked LOL! The chipboard will be.

Here is an idea to dress up your plain chipboard letters or anything.

To start you will need these supplies:

3D Crystal Lacquer

Paint

Stickles

Chipboard

I used Acrylic paint - Pumpkin and Copper Stickles

Pick your chipboard you would like to alter.

Paint your chipboard the desired color of your choice and let dry completely.

When completely dry add your choice color of stickles. I just blob it on and rub with my finger.

Here is what it looks like with paint and stickles. Let dry completely.

Then you can add your 3D Lacquer. Completely cover and let dry.

Here is what it looks like done!

Here is my Layout. My DD had a Basketball Tournament and I kept the schedule and scores to put on the layout.

This is the end of my DT term. Six months have already passed and it went fast. I am sad its over but have to say I had an amazing experience and just love the turtle girls!

August Sneak Peek!

I had a great weekend at the cottage with the family! We got DD's room almost done. The floor is down and some trim. The kids got their bunkies stained and just need a door now. HOpe the bears done get in hehehe. We also finally got our railing done on the top deck. Thank goodness I was worried someone would fall off one of these days. Not now though!!!!

May Mystery Kit and Stuff

Well my DS made it back safely from Celtic Camp. He told us all about it and have a fabulous time. I am such a dork though!!! I sent him a old camera...made sure there was film and showed him how to load the extra film. Do you think I would check the batteries???? He took one picture and the batteries died!!!!! I hope his friends got lots of pictures.

I have to say I had a great weekend. Dispite the cool weather and rain we got lots done. We also saw a deer that was awesome right infront of our cottage! It came out of the bush, slowly walked back in the bush and about half later she came back out the other side. I got video and pictures!!!! Below I have pictures of what we have been doing to the cottage and the deer!

Long Weekend

Well I have to say I am excited and sad for the long weekend. We usually have our big bash here but this year we decided not to. The weather doesn't usually cooperate for us so we have decided to go to our cottage instead.

I haven't been updating too well on my blog.... bad me! I have a challenge and thought this was a great opportunity to get my butt in gear.

Here is a pick of my children and I having a fun photo shoot with my wonderful photographer (sister, Michelle).

I absolutely love my kids for their kookiness sometimes. We have lots of fun together. Here we told Cody we are going to take some pictures together. At this time no one could EVER get a picture of him smiling. So we told him he had to smile because if we don't get any good pics we will take all day doing pictures. So in this first pic, D and I are messing around and Cody has a great smile!!!!! He is trying his best.....

Michelle is laughing and we are giggling and he is wondering what is going on so checks it out!!!!

Then we told him to be serious!!! LOL! What a fabulous day!

I love my kids so much that there is nothing in this world I wouldn't do for them. I really enjoy the age they are at most of the time since we can do so much together. We act funny, weird, serious and kookie but have a lot of fun!!!!

Weekend is over

Well we had a great weekend. We went 4 wheeling Friday night and man did we get muddy. I didn't do much scrappin on Saturday but did some Sunday. Then I had to go and was my muddy messy 4 wheeler which took over 2 hours to clean. Then I thought I would be nice and clean my husbands. Here are a couple LO's I did over the weekend.

Going Shopping

Well I am heading out with my kids and neice shopping today. I am picking up our cousin at the airport can't wait to see him again! He lives out in BC and miss them lots.

I have to purchase a birthday present for my neice and I hope she finds something she likes. She said she loves Claires so we will start there.

Back from Scrapfest

Holy looking at the dates I am a bit behind on posting. Anyhow I need a couple of day to recoup but ready to go again. We had a Blast at Scrapfest. My sister Michelle and friend Tara went together. We took a class Friday night called Tattered Angels, then went out for dinner with our friend Ally and the girls from Scrapbook Cards and Today! Saturday morning we had a class at 9:00 with Vicki Boutin it was an awesome card class and learned lots of techinques I can't wait to share with you. In the afternoon we did an Album class with Trisha which was awesome I love it and just have to hopefully get it finished this week. Had a bit of a break and took another card buffet class with Trisha. It wasn't my fav class but she still rocks anyways.

We were so busy this year it was crazy but we did get some shopping in and a bit of food.

I was so happy to meet lots of girls from the Turtle there what a great group of girls!!! Here are a few pics of our weekend.

Alright Ladies I know you have been waiting a bit for this so here it is. I am having a card class here on APRIL 30th. If you are interested please let me know before the 14th as I need to order the supplies. First you need to let me know what paper pack you would like. You can choose any Level 1. Call, e-mail, leave me a message asap and I will give you further instructions. Everyones cards will be different and I know they will be beautiful. If you don't get them done in class that ok because you will have everything to be able to finish them at your own pace. We will be making up to 18 cards. It all depends on your pace. You don't want to miss this class space is limited so call today!!!! Also the new CTMH Summer Idea Books are in and they are beautiful!!!!! E-mail or call today to order yours.

My Very First Toot!!!!! This is no April Fools Joke!

I have to say I am pretty excited!!! I have know since March Break but couldn't say anything until the announcement today. I made the Design Team for Scrapping Turtle!!! Today is my offical start day and I am in for 6 months. Whooohoooo.

What a March Break!! I have been away for 10 days and now back and trying to catch up with everything. The family went to Texas to visit cousins, then we went to Memphis, Nashville, and Ohio. I will be posting pics and more exciting stuff as soon as I load up all my pics. I know some of you have been wondering where I have been and called to make sure I'm ok. Thanks for thinking of me but I am ok and just had lots of things we were doing. Keep you eyes open for pics and more.

I have been sick since Thursday and still feeling lousy!!! I am sorry I haven't been blogging but will catch up!!

Frame Post It Note Holder - Tutorial

I'm excited!!! This is my very first tutorial on my blog!!!! Hope you all enjoy.

Step 1 - Gather all your supplies.... Color Coordinate

You will need:

Paper

Ribbon

3X3 post it notes

5X7 clear frame

embellies (your choice)

Step 2

Cut Paper 5 X 7 1/4

I added a strip on the top and stamp "dream" with CTMH stamp set (Card Commentary)

Slide paper inside frame

Step 3

Adhere ribbon and post it note pad to front of frame using glue dots

Final Step:

Decorate as you please add all your beautiful embellies

I used a piece of PP 2 X 2 and pressed it with QuicKutz GooseBumpz Embossing Die (Diamond)

Then I used QuicKutz (flower) to make my flower and the other is a Prima felt flower. I also put a Making Memories crystal brad in the center of my QK flower.

Viola you have a post it note frame!

So my DD has been driving my crazy to get some pink streaks in her hair. I gave in and dropped her off at the hairdressers last night and pick her up 2 1/2 hours later. Here is my little girl I picked up!!!!!

I really like it but holy bright!!!! LOL

It looks adorable on her.... we were a bit worried about what dad would say but really what could he say it was done. He was fine with it and just said "wow thats bright!" LOL

Mixed Feelings Today

We got the announcement yesterday about the DT at Monamememories and unfortuntly I didn't make it on the team..... but a good friend of mine did Thynner!!!!! WTG! I am excited for her.
I am feeling crappy today with an aweful head cold but this won't stop me from scrapping!
I am applying for one more team and really hope this is the one! Its Canadian so even better!
I have added some LO's to my slide show so check it out!

Excited!!!

I was so very happy to find out yesterday that our local store here asked if I would make some LO's to put up in her store. I am very excited and already have one done. I am hoping to be able to help out more in the future. My sister will be working on a blog for their store and I know it will be great! More details to come very soon.
Also I have applied for another DT at Monamememories and we find out this afternoon who is on the team. Sitting biting my nails today.

I had my class last night and what fun!!! I am so glad I have a bunch of great friends to scrap with. We were so busy I forgot to grab my camera I would have loved to have taken some pics. Well I guess I will have to do that next time. Fair warning ladies who join me next time hehe.
Tomorrow I hope to get lots of scrapping done with my sister but as I see on her blog she needs to get some cleaning done so maybe I won't go over I may have to clean? With the drab weather today I hope everyone can get some scrappin in!!!!

Well my computer is still holding on!!!! It isn't flashing like is was before weird?? But won't complain.
I am getting ready for my class tonight. I have stuff packed, cut, prizes and games all ready to go.
I also am trying to get a layout done for a DT call at Scrapdango. Its a tough one but I am working on it slowly.

WOW!! I took a class with a girlfriend of mine Tara. Vicki Boutin was teaching a mini album class and lots of techniques. We were there from 10:00 - 6:00, the class took a bit longer then expected but wait til you see the results!!! I am hopefully going to get it put together today and show you pics by next week!!!

Will my life ever slow down??? I am trying out for a couple of DT's and finding it very busy. Also with my CTMH business it is also keeping me busy. After these DT calls I will be taking a break from them and scrapping for just for me. Unless I hopefully make a team lol. I am heading to Kitchner this weekend with my friend Tara to take a class with Vicki Boutin!!!! I can't wait it is going to me so exciting. I am going to miss my sister coming with us though.
